An
annual event designed to promote the microbrewery revolution
in Hawai'i, to encourage professional brewers and chefs
to work together as an industry and to have a significant
and positive economic and environmental effect on the
community.
We
invite you to the 14th Annual Kona Brewers Festival
Saturday, March 14, 2009, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
On the shores of Kailua Bay on the Big Island of Hawai'i
King Kamehameha’s
Kona Beach Hotel
75-5660 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i

is
a celebration of more than a decade of brewing excellence
in Hawai'i. Since its inception, the festival's mission
has been to promote the craft brewing revolution in
Hawai'i and encourage professional brewers and chefs
to work together and have a positive economic, educational
and environmental effect on our Big Island community.
The
event debuted in 1996 to celebrate the beginning of
Kona Brewing
Company, and to foster Hawai'i's increasing
interest in the craft brewing industry, and to promote
recycling. The annual success of the Kona Brewers Festival
is due to the outstanding support from more than 200
volunteers, sponsors, local restaurants, and breweries
from all over the world.
Over
the years the Kona Brewers Festival has become one of
Kailua-Kona's premier events and has raised more than
$313,000 for Big Island beneficiaries!
Please
be sure to check out all the Kona Brewers Festival events
- activities sure to pique diverse interests: a Brewers
Pa'ina at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort,
a Golf Tournament at
the Big Island Country Club, and a Run
for Hops starting and ending at Kona Brewing
Company Brewpub. Please join us for these additional
festivities!
RAIN
OR SHINE, WE DRINK & DINE! NO REFUNDS ON TICKET PURCHASE.
The Kona Brewers Festival is a benefit for outstanding local
nonprofit organizations. As such, the beneficiaries are
depending on funds raised to support their important projects.
