1. Aina Akamai: Blue Dragon Restaurant. Beet cured marlin with caper cream cheese on crostini & Handmade chocolate truffles served on Ti leaves

Aina Akamai: Spikes Waikoloa Club House. Smoked pork tostada, grilled Mongolian beef lettuce wrap & Okinawan donut on Ti leaves

2. Last Chef Standing Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Hale Kai Restaurant at the Fairmont Orchid, Island Naturals, Island Thyme Catering, King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Restaurant, Buns in the Sun Bakery Deli and ACF Kona-Kohala Chapter.

3. Best Decorated Booth: Hale Kai Restaurant at the Fairmont Orchid.

'Aina Akamai Award
Each year, Festival committee members select the most innovative and environmentally friendly food tasting station based on the materials used (or not used!) in food presentation of guest portions. The award is a perpetual trophy, on display at the Kona Brewing Company Brewpub.
